Employment Opportunities
Employment opportunities may be available depending on current caseload and staff number. - Veterinary Technician (CVT preferred or working toward CVT)
- Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant

Observation Opportunities
We do accept observation students. However, availability is dependent on current case load and prior obligations with other interns or observers. We allow observers if they are interested in a veterinary career or someone applying to a veterinary program or veterinary technician program. Observers are NOT paid employees and are not allowed to participate in hands on duties or tasks. Observation hours are typically capped at 20-40 hours to allow multiple other students an opportunity to observe. Paws & Prairie is happy to accommodate any interns, pending availability. We have worked with many Veterinary Technician and Veterinarian interns/externs in the past from various different programs.
